1.5km. 45 mins easy walking but add 30 mins for wildlife spotting.

Point 1

Woodland Wildflowers (April—May)
Flowers: Lesser Celandine, Golden Saxifrage, Dog Violet, Wood Anemone and Ivy Leaved Speedwell.
Look out for: Speckled Wood Butterfly

Point 2

Species-Rich Grassland and Marshy Grassland:
Flowers: Yellow Rattle, Common Knapweed, Red Clover, Yarrow, Eyebright, Marsh Marigold, Crested Dogstail and Sweet Vernal Grass.
Look out for: Meadow Brown, Common Blue and small Tortoiseshell Butterflies.

Point 3

Species-Rich Grassland
Flowers: Yellow Rattle, Red Clover, Common Knapweed, Autumn Hawkbit, Rough Hawkbit, Eyebright, Crested Dogstail, Common Spotted Orchid, Self-Heal, Devils-Bit Scabious, and Common Birds Foot Trefoil.
Look out for: Brown Hawker Dragonfly, Common Darter Dragonfly and Blue Damselfly.

Point 4

Up to Wildlife walk 2 and Species-rich flushed meadow with base enriched ‘hushings’.
Look out for: Hare, Curlew, Lapwing and Kestrel.

Point 5

Shallow pools and slow flowing water.
Look out for: Bullhead, Caddis Fly Larvae, Cray-fish and Dipper. Hawthorn trees blossoming in May.
