With February Half-Term fast approaching many of us will be looking for things to do with the children, where better than local charity and tourist attraction HAPPA, Shores Hey Farm? The Farm is open to visitors daily between 11am and 4pm.
Whilst enjoying a great day out you will be supporting the Charity’s vital work rehabilitating horses and ponies rescued from cruelty and neglect.
Family Fun at the Farm includes a Valentine’s Trail – spend time exploring the stables and completing activities, £3 per sheet available from Saturday 15th February to Sunday 23rd. A Slime Making Workshop in the Activity Room on the 21st February 11am to 3pm, £4 per child. Or why not spoil your loved one by treating them to a fine dining experience on Valentine’s Day in The Café at Shores Hey Farm. £50 per couple, 6.30pm onwards.
Julie Pharaoh-Gan, HAPPA Development Officer says, “We hope that everyone will find some love in their hearts for HAPPA this Valentine’s and join us at Shores Hey Farm. With a sumptuous menu prepared by our chefs, fun for all the family, or sharing the love with our horses and ponies you will support the Charity to continue its mission”.
Finally, HAPPA would love you to consider sponsoring one of their horses or ponies this Valentine’s. A great gift for a loved one!
