The team at Shores Hey Farm were delighted to find out that they have made it through to the finals of Lancashire Tourism Awards for 2019.
Having won Small Visitor Attraction Award in 2017, and Finalists in two categories in 2018, the Team are now keeping their fingers crossed as they are in the running for Small Visitor Event of the Year.
There are 95 finalists competing in 22 categories for this year’s Lancashire Tourism Awards. The annual Lancashire Tourism Awards are Lancashire’s only county-wide tourism and hospitality awards; providing a route to the Visit England Awards for Excellence, the industry’s national honours.
Julie Pharaoh-Gan HAPPA’s Development Manager is delighted in the opportunity to showcase Shores Hey Farm “To get through to the finals is such a great achievement for everyone involved. This Award is for a Small Visitor Event, and for Shores Hey Farm this was our Grand Open Day in 2018 which was themed Unicorns, Princesses and Knights. This was our first themed Grand Open Day and we were really pleased with the results, not only did it raise a fantastic amount for the Charity, but a fun-filled day out was had by all who attended. I think that we have shown that if you work hard enough for something great things can be achieved. Special thanks must go to those who continue to recognise and support our valuable work.”
Winners are announced on 7th November.
