The team at Shores Hey Farm were delighted to find out that they have made it through to the finals of Lancashire Tourism Awards in TWO categories for 2018.
Having won Small Visitor Attraction Award in 2017 the Team are now keeping there fingers crossed to retain the title and are also in the running for Taste Lancashire Café/Tearoom Award.
There are 103 finalists competing in 22 categories for this year’s Lancashire Tourism Awards, supported by headline sponsor, University of Central Lancashire (UCLan). The annual Lancashire Tourism Awards are Lancashire’s only county-wide tourism and hospitality awards; providing a route to the Visit England Awards for Excellence, the industry’s national honours.
Julie Rickwood-Gan HAPPA’s Development Manager is delighted in the opportunity to showcase Shores Hey Farm by being nominated as finalists. “To get through to the finals is such a great achievement for everyone involved. We want to put Shores Hey Farm ‘on the map’ and to be recognised for the great hospitality, friendly and knowledgeable staff, fantastic food and facilities and for everything that we do to make a fabulous visitor attraction, in order to continue to provide for the equines in our care, and for those who will need us in the future. I think that we have shown that if you work hard enough for something great things can be achieved. Special thanks must go to those who continue to recognise and support our valuable work.”
Winners are announced in November.
