With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, it seems fitting that HAPPA has a love story all of its own.
HAPPA Cupid was born at Shores Hey Farm to mother HAPPA Valentine, aptly named after being rescued on St Valentine’s Day in 2010. In a twist to mythology, this cutie, along with all the other horses and ponies in HAPPA’s care, is looking to be loved.
Cupid is a very handsome guy, with a personality to match; he is cool, calm and collected and takes everything literally in his stride. He has good manners and is perfectly behaved under saddle.
If he sounds just your type, he is available to be adored, under the HAPPA Second Chance Sponsorship Scheme, and is fast developing his very own fan club. You can share your heart with Cupid by sponsoring him at www.happa.org.uk/sponsor/or at the Centre.
The lovable pony has even inspired Chef Manager, Mark Travis, and his team, to provide an intimate fine dining experience, for a very limited number of guests, on Friday 12th February 2016. It’s the very first time The Scullery, within The Visitor’s Centre, will have opened its doors in the evening, and hopefully, will be the first of many.
Mark says, “Who knows, you may be struck by Cupid’s golden arrow! What we do know is you’ll be treated to exceptional service, a sumptuous menu and all in romantic surroundings.”
